Flames Fire 49 Shots On Igor In Rangers Road Loss | New York Rangers

Igor Shesterkin had his hands full in Calgary, making 46 saves on the night but it would be a Flames 3-2 victory. The Rangers found themselves down by 2 but were able to even things up in the 2nd period but couldn’t break through. Connor Zary had the game winning goal for Calgary, the only goal to be scored in the final frame.

  4. I dont even know how Trouba looks at himself every morning. He should be ashamed/embarrassed at how horrible not only he is as a player but how this team has been this year under him as a Captain.🤬👎
    Just listen to how he addressed this game! This is the second time he has said this team can’t play up to par. First time was after 3 days off he told us the boys “weren’t ready to play” and now he’s telling us there “wasn’t enough in the tank!” And then we wonder why this team is CONSTANTLY coming out with ZERO grit, determination, drive and urgency.

  5. Completely outskated AGAIN.Calgary seemed to have an extra player on each shift.
    Trouba appears to have concrete in his skates and Lindgren is now not an NHL defenceman.Kreider did what exactly?
    Too many players who appear to be unable to play at pace and other teams are just simply faster and more intense.
    It's a pipedream to think this team is a Stanley Cup contender whilst carrying so many dead weights
    Rebuild number two is rapidly approaching.

  7. Could have been easily 6 or 7-2 without Shesterkin. As usual gave us a chance ti win keeping us in the game. That first goal by Coronato was unstoppable. Rangers had their chances to tie it….

  12. to put into context how bad the first 30 mins was…at the rate they where going they would have ended with 70 !! shots allowed…70! let that sink in. it was 35-10 at mid 2nd period.

    they simply did not show up and let them drive strait trough the center and pepper Igor with shots. they made Calgary look good, it was them that did not play up to the NHL standard, this was a sub standard game , they need to bench the worst non performers, to many" LAZY asses" on this team, work harder, forechecking harder, block shots, play harder in defense zone hit them hard make them pay every time…

    they are lazy, not work hard at all, they think Igor and Quick will bail them out every game dream on it will not happen, they did great but they are still human they cant stop 50 or even 40 shots every game!!

    defense is worthless trash with 2 great goalies that carries the entire load with no help from the defense!

    coach need to be fired unless he start disciplining and punish EVEY player that do not work hard EVER shift EVERY game..the lazy ass defense ENDS NOW or this season will be another wasted painful season for NYR. This team is horrible unbalanced, a ton of offense talent but no effort or ability to play defense and block shots or intercept passes. they need to clean house bench the worst offenders and look at getting some experienced hard working defense men to energize and organize, this team defense needs a total overhaul it is a disaster !

  13. Valley speaking the truth. This is much more of systematic breakdown. If Trouba thinks they are playing good enough,and shows this lack of concern then to me it's 1 of 2 things. 1 he is pissed about Drury trying to trade him, or 2 he is not being realistic/accountable. There is much more, the Seattle game, they barely won and Seatttle had played the night before. The Vancouver game, they played a depleted lineup and barely won. The team in general does not look good

  14. There is ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY BY THAT JOKE IF A CAPTAIN!!!!! It starts there. The attitude of the team starts there. The shitty play of the team starts there, but doesn’t end there!!!The captain is a freaking joke!!!! Shrugging off shitty play. Call yourself out!!!!

  17. Lavy nails it…this team is now repeating the same pattern of poor play in their losses. The losses aren't outliers. They can't defend. Goal tending is saving them.
