….uh, didn't Rex Ryan destroy the Jets salary cap the last time he was there?
Rex ryan will be back with no qb again 😂😂😂
Yeah, Ryan can be a bit of headcase at times, but I gotta admit…. The dude led the J-E-T-S to back to back AFC Championships in 2009 and 2010 with frickin Mark Sanchez as his QB and did it beating Tom Brady!! That's the last time the Jets smelled the playoffs. Ryan is an old school defensive minded football coach just like his father was. He at least deserves some consideration for the job. The main problem with Ryan is the Jets need an offensive guru, not a defensive one. Rodney is probably right on this one. Ben Johnson would be a wise choice.
Just silly. Hasn't coached in 8 years. When he got fired by the Bills, he didn't even go back to being a coordinator to earn another shot.
I"m not a Jets' fan but if I was, I wouldn't want this loud mouth old dude back as the HC of the team. He's way too old and this team needs a young offensive mind to make them contenders again.
Let rex cook we the fans need n want a head coach that feels our pain 😢lol
Yes Rodney – the answer to fixing one of the most dysfunctional organizations in all sports .. is a first time head coach 😂
Well.. he is washed, he rode daddy's playback and scheme as far as it would take him, otherwise he would still be coaching. He is undisciplined and has a circus for a locker room, honestly he fits perfectly for the jets.. just another clown.
I don't understand why any organization, any analyst, any fan believes that Rex could be a successful head coach. He never has been. It's not like getting fatter and louder and richer behind a studio desk has made him more qualified . He was 61-66, made the Jets worse and Bills never got better. DC number's solid but puuuuhhhleeez. He's a blowhard who doesn't even make sense half the time behind the desk but that's what these desks are for.
here's a funny one for you florio, Rex when he first came to the jets still had Brett Farve as his QB but only for a few days, His first pivot move was to try and trade the Ravens for backup QB Tyrod Taylor. all these years later you have him possibly walking in and losing a hall of fame QB as he walks in the door but have the option to get Tyrod who is only on a 1 year deal currently.
Wait.. didnt he leave the Jets to go to Buffalo??
Rex was less than .500 (46-50) over his tenure and he had a pretty good set of players and coach’s.
Rex, it never worked because you didn't have a reliable QB. There is no QB in New York
Ben Johnson will never leave us for the Jets. He can hand pick whatever job he wants. He's going to leave us but it's a 0% chance it's to the Jets
Amazement–people will line up to have a few million thrown at them by a billionaire to be his whipping boy. It looks like the billionaire has destroyed more careers than he has helped by a mile. Condolences to the jets draft choices. They have no choice. They are drafted into servitude then blamed by ownership and New York media that THEY are not good enough.
They haven’t played decent football since Rex has left
Rex is the only football guy that wants to work for woody Johnson.. no coach in their right mind would work for woody..
Sure get Rex.
Rex always putting his best foot forward.
Rex is a clown. Full stop.
Either he got inspired by Prime or he was drunk. No other explanation… either way I hope ESPN fires him tomorrow
what’s in your cup rodney😂 hypotheticals are crazy
Rodney Harrison is nuts
EVERYONE Wants Ben Johnson. Why would he want the spotlight of NYC and a hands on Owner. Nah.
I think Rodney is doing this spot on a trampoline. That or he's in a bouncy castle. Amateur.
LOL yes and hire Mark Sanchez as OC…I think hes just dipping his TOES in the water.
I want Brian Flores for the Jets.
I think he should be hired as team president
If Rex goes back, they have to go back to the dark green, because those "new" north texas lookalike unis are BUTT CHEEKS.
He was their most successful but the owner isn't going look like an idiot and just hire through a propaganda job interview.
I'd rather die with Rex then try with someone else.
Rex is the New York version of DC
Did Rodney just say the Jets were a good job?
Yes, Rex for the fix! Let the theatrics and bombastment continue.
Rex begging to get back into the league. wander the Dallas DC job, but didn't get it.
