The bad man can’t hurt us no more

  1. Very sad news. I’m pretty convinced his career has only come this far because of his games against us, and to be honest it was a price well worth paying to help keep the Giants as terrible as they’ve been.

  2. Until he signs with Dallas tonight and pops out of the casket like the undertaker on Sunday

  3. The sixth-year QB will be subject to waivers. Any team claiming him would be responsible for the remaining $13,805,555 he’s guaranteed in 2024, making a claim highly unlikely, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported.

  4. NGL I think he’d be a better backup than Mariota. Obvy let him clear waivers – nobody needs that fucking injury clause, but if he’s available in the off-season I certainly think about it.

Really think he was only about 25% of the problem in NY. I don’t think he was ever going to be a good ‘fit’ for what they want to do there, and it’s not like they actually made a concerted effort to improve the roster.

Let him sit behind JD for a couple seasons, rehab his image, clean NY off his soul, and then see if you can profit.

  5. The other 2 teams in the division have the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever.

What was it about him that when he played against Washington he would play his absolute best ball?? It’s the weirdest thing ever.

  6. on a less funny note. stuff like this is why i never have a problem when players hold out and try to get the money they feel they are due. Yes this situation isn’t the same because daniel jones got paid. but guys coming up on contract extensions..seeking guranteed money etc. im not mad at all they hold out. because as soon as a franchise is done with you. they’ll let you walk. or release or trade you ( yes i know he asked to be released) they had dude playin safety. didn’t that happen to griff?

  7. He would have been a hall of famer if he just pretended every weekend he was facing burgundy and gold.

  8. Legitimately who outside of the 49ers if Purdy’s arm is as bad as some speculate would bother to roster him? Arizona, Tampa and Miami are the only maybe makes the back up better fits to me.

  9. How Daniel Jones played against us:

    5-3-1; 69% completion; 1,862 yards (average 207); 14 TD 3 INT; 6.77y/a; rating of 100.3

    Rushing: 64 attempts for 410 yards (average 46); 6.41y/a; 2 TDs

  10. as we found out this year It was Barkley all along who was the killer, DJ does well against Washington true. but he couldn’t kill them without Barkley.

  11. Something must have happened for them to cut him now. He will have a nice second career as a journeyman.

  12. Watch him have a better second half of his career with the Raiders or some random team like Geno , Baker and Darnold
