  1. All of a sudden everyone wants to act like they love Winston when they hated him for years and they blamed him for things way out of his control. We live in a clown society.

  2. Winston lost me last year when he didn't take the knee last year, I personally think it's disrespectful to pile on points in the NFL. But that was the obviously the competitor in him. After last night I'm a fan again

  3. Cleveland needs to resign him and draft stud O-lineman and defensive tackle. Possibly a receiver. I would not reach for a QB in the draft. It’s gonna be a 3-5 yr project.

  4. If you're a Browns fan, you have every right to be pissed off that they didn't bench Watson much sooner in favor of Jameis… Had they done that, maybe they'd have 5 or 6 wins now instead of only 3 and be right in the thick of the playoff chase. Too little, too late now, but at least there's a glimmer of hope for next season. And last night made it perfectly clear that Watson no longer has a place on this roster! The team just plays with so much more passionate intensity when Winston is QB.

  5. Look at the difference in tone between Jameis Winston and Aaron Rodgers. They are both three win teams, but Jameis is pumped like he's in a playoff run, he's into it, he's enthusiastic, he wants to play, he's a baller. Rodgers seems like he couldn't be more bored. He complains about a lack of energy on the team but shows none himself. AR has never been exactly inspirational as a speaker or a leader. He has always led mostly by putting out an extremely high level of proficiency on the field. His arm was so good he didn't have to give speeches. But now his play is League average at best. He doesn't transcend anymore. He's not special anymore. He looks like he's playing hurt, not driving throws with his legs, trying to arm throw everything, not going downfield. He has no legs left. His escapability used to be one of his strongest traits but he can't boot anymore, he can't buy time, he takes sacks and is still reluctant to throw downfield and risk INT's. Jameis Winston may be many things, but being reluctant to throw downfield or risk INT's is not one of them. Jameis pays his money and he takes his swings. I like that. He plays it like the Madden, go routes on every play.

  6. this proves character is a very important trait in sports.

Jameis Winston plays hard and has a passion and respect for the game.

even his ints are entertaining, I love to watch a gunslinger

  7. I don't want to overreact to Winston's success with the Browns, but thre has been a trend over the past three seasons: Jared Goff in Detroit (NFC Championship) Baker Mayfield in Tampa (playoffs), Geno Smith with Seattle (playoffs in 2022) . . .I think the Browns should consider keeping Winston and cutting bait on Watson somehow.
