  1. All bs aside they should. He’s not really that bad but the Raiders have the same issues as the Giants. Shitty ass coaching staff.

  2. If this sub ran the team we’d have like 18 bum QBs on our practice squad taking up 3/4 of our salary cap.

And then we’d sign Jon Gruden to a new $100m deal.

  3. As if I didn’t say this about. Gardner Minshew, and Jimmy G, and Jason Campbell, and Carson Palmer, and Matt Schuab!……. If you’re saying this, you haven’t had enough raider heartbreak in your life yet. I’ve learned my lesson in this area bois. The next Quarterback I see better be drafted by us, and not a sloppy second from another team.

  4. There are 2 scenarios that can play out here:
    1. We sign him and he continues to suck
    2. We pass on him and he goes on to fucking ball out somewhere else and make a deep playoff run next year.

  5. I would sign him to a vet min and release Minshew, got a new vet back up for cheaper next year

  6. Honestly, I’m not super interested in Sanders, but if we get him Jones would be an ideal backup. Let Jones start the first 4 games while Sanders is learning.

  7. Raiders are known to successfully kick tires on washed up QB’s. Blanda, Plunkett and Gannon come to mind.

  8. if this occurs, i might have to burn my mack jersey, been holding on to it ever since i hoped he would come back 🥺

  9. Just bring out the player / owner Jackie Moon. Seriously. Thats our best shot at a win this year.

  10. This would do nothing for our team, unless you are trying to waste money. He’s not going to show up at this point in the season, quickly learn things, and make an impact. Almost none. If you want to not play Minshew no matter what, then we should start Ridder the next two weeks until Aiden comes back. I see no possible way the team does better than any of those three QBs with Jones. And outside of a stretch in one season (2022), Jones has never impressed much. Expecting him to all of a sudden return to the peak of his playing (ignoring the rest of his near bust career), and be the Raiders QB of the future is asinine.
