It’s actually unfathomable Gabe Vincent did this in back to back games
November 23, 2024
I think he scored more in these two games than he has in his entire Laker career 😐

We gotta trade his ass NOW I’d rather see Bronny than whatever he’s doing on the court
He might get 27 points in 10 games. I’m betting the under.
To be fair, he was out for a long time due to an injury. Hopefully he finds his rhythm back, but sometimes layoffs like that can ruin careers.
Not really. It actually makes a lot of sense. Gabe was asked to do a lot of shot creation in Miami so he was able to get into a rhythm which led to him shooting better. The Lakers ask Gabe to do the occasional ball handling but most of the time he’s just in the corner while Austin, Bron, Dlo, or AD do their thing. He’s behind Rui and Dalton in the pecking order too now.
Some players are able to just camp out in the corner all day and make threes and some need ball handling opportunities in order to get into a rhythm. The same thing is happening to Dlo but to a lesser extent.
They be giving Miami Heat players super soldier serum
He was their starting point guard. Here, he’s behind so many other scorers.
What being coached by Spo does to a MF

I’ll never understand what happened to him to go from that to how bad he is now. I know he’s had some injuries including the one he missed a season over basically but still. He’s not doing anything each night. He’s a solid defender for a guard and that’s about it. He’s not shooting, he’s not assisting, he’s basically just doing nothing.
Definitely the biggest disappointment thus far of any player this year on our team. I thought him now being healthy and the main pg to run 2nd unit he’d average like 10-13ppg off bench for us and be very effective..
You look at bench scoring. Gabe is giving us nothing. Christie is giving us basically nothing. DLO is the only one capable rn of scoring and even he’s been not how he used to be more consistently than not so far.
The bench is the biggest concern. Obviously rotations shorten more come playoffs but still if there’s nobody that’s scoring off bench it’ll be tough to go far. The 5 starters aren’t gonna be able to dominate every night all season long then do the same all playoffs they need help.
I’m suffering some severe cognitive dissonance staring at this.
NBA basketball is all about fit.
Unfortunately, he just doesn’t fit here. He’s not a microwave type of guy. He obviously needs the ball and a bright green light in order to get into a rhythm.

Sucks for us.
Miami knew something that’s for sure.
Not everyone can stand under the bright LA lights
