[Daniel Li] The 6’7″ NBA Player That Can’t Dunk

  1. He’s only 23 years old. Give him time to develop. Once he does, it’ll basically be like getting a first round pick.

  2. It is sort of odd how it’s the one skill he seems to lack and not due to any obvious issue getting air or palming the ball. Like it’s obvious why Steph Curry has never dunked in a game but Pat physically has everything you’d need to be an incredible in-game dunker.

  3. It’s not even an elevation problem. He just can’t flush it down the rim which is so weird. Almost like has a problem with range estimation of his own hand and the depth perception of the rim

  4. Pat is a complete head case. It’s like the yips. It’s not curable IMO and will make him a highly frustrating player as long as he’s in the league

  5. It’s like creating a 7 foot player in 2K with a dunk rating of 1 because you think the animation will be funny to see

  6. So what I got out of that is pretty much he is doing 5 different things wrong and its not going to improve..

  7. This thread is hilarious. Because he was the 4th pick (wiseman was 2nd and basically out of the league) no one is gonna be happy until he’s a 20 ppg guy. He consistently guards the other teams best player, shoots 40% from 3, and has been at best the 4th option on offense. I’m not over the moon about the guy, but I want him on the “young core” going forward
