Has anyone ever been caught on mic calling for a corked bat?

This hot mic clip from the 1990s shows Brett Hull, the hockey equivalent of a career 600 HR slugger, calling for his illegal stick. Have any MLB players ever been caught on video asking for their corked bat? Or maybe a pitcher (Gaylord Perry?) asking someone to pass the Vaseline?

In Baseball the problem would be the higher risk of injury due to exploding bats. In hockey only the puck gets faster.
