Espinal Returning-Reds Bolster Depth with One-Year Deal for Versatile Veteran

  1. 1 yr $2.66M.  Actually a little less than what he made last year.

If they had non tendered him, I think that would have been an indication that maybe they were leaning toward keeping India.  With him coming back now, who knows.

  2. I like this move. He was a good utility guy and even though he started slow, he actually hit well down the stretch. Always need a good glove that can play multiple positions.

  3. I feel like he was to get some timely hits in pretty big places and makes the infield defense alot better. I like this move

  4. Maybe our most clutch hitter last year. And for a while there he was the most clutch .200 hitter of all time.

  5. Depth is king. We’re gonna need it. Last year proved the paper lineup never lasted. Early, but here’s our current IF depth
