Tom Thibodeau credits Jericho Sims and Cam Payne for their performances tonight: “We were low-energy and I thought that those guys gave us energy, they gave us a good boost.”
And yet Sims only got 9 mins… Seems like a player giving you a boost of energy should get more minutes.
Naaahh… Thibs aint getting this team to new level.
Jonathan Macri nailed in knicks film school, the team reacted to Sims and Cam being on the floor. In 9 minutes Sims only scored 2 points and got 2 rebounds, but his stops in the paint, switching, mad switching, got other people involved, OG went off! This would have been a great night for Sims and Precious together. KAT wasn’t able to deal with the length Utah has. Heck, Sims and Huk would have been good to stop their come backs.
The gameplan made no sense. Just JB and Bridges chucking shots, not feeding KAT and OG enough.. the. Sims comes In and is getting nonstop drops and helping us back into the game and…. He’s benched.
