Blues Hire Jim Montgomery (Former Bruins Coach) as The Team’s New Head Coach
St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong released a statement early on Sunday that the Blues have relieved Drew Bannister of his coaching duties and hired former Boston Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery.

Montgomery was a scapegoat. Sweeney and Neely are two HUGE reasons why the Bruins are slowly becoming a doormat. They have done very little to improve the team. They should’ve gone after Guentzel last year. Opponents shut down Pastrnak, and they negate about 60-70% of the B’s offensive threat. And so far this year, many teams have figured that out.
Been a Bruins fan for a very long time.
