  1. SMH. I understand the need for views, but maybe reporting pertinent news that actually has an impact on the Soto situation rather than trying to make something out of nothing.

I hope they sign Soto, but let's keep it real and provide information that really matters.

  2. Fans should take 2 minutes and compare Pete Alonso's stats in his 6 years of MLB & Juan Soto 7 years in MLB… If Pete isn't signed to end his career as a MET it will be a massive injustice, Pete will cost less than half the AAS of Soto.

  3. Judge is butthurt about money. Guy has a money bin to dive into, “but it’s not my money.” Yankees have screwed the pooch on this one; Hal wants to be boys now with Soto, Judge doesn’t care, says a lot about someone we want to throw $700 million plus for the next 15 years….

  4. Deesha was a bit off with the money coming off of the books. Look, the Mets paid two 40 year olds $85 million to NOT play for them last year. Who cares if cohen gets Soto and then Pete, this is play money for Cohen. Then we will sign Corbin Burnes and Max Fried. We are going to be the east coast dodgers

  5. As a Yankees fan that watched him botch balls in the outfield, and run the bases like a Jerry's kid all year, you can have him for the schmuck money being offered. You guys were a couple of games away from the WS without him and accumulated some respect in doing so. Paying 700 Million to win 5 or 6 more games next year and lose all respect gained isn't worth it in M/O.

  6. The Mets would be better off without him. He's coming off of the best year in his career. I don't know think that 35 HR a year and a 275 BA with poor defense is worth a 15 year 650 million dollar contract.

  7. Even if he is really 26, which I doubt, a 15 yr contract would age poorly. Just look at Paul Goldschmidt. He was once considered one of the top players in all of Baseball. This past year, he really struggled. He's 37. How will Soto look ten years from now?

  8. I haven’t so many Yankees fans pretending and acting like Mets fans in this site with their new stupidity that now Soto is not 26 years old
Like insurances companies provided insurance to baseball players without making sure about the players correct personal information
When the Yankees fans in this site are going to stop with that stupidity, grow up, get real that the only reason the Bronx criers can’t afford Soto is because they are stack with contras like the “steroids “‘Judge ,. Staton Cole etc and if they will sign Soto for 700 mill or more they will have to pay over 1,000 mill for the luxury taxes
Yankees fans now are with their stupidity off”Soto real age bla bla because they don’t want to accept that the Yankees can’t afforded Soto

  9. I would like to get Willie Adames to play third and then maybe sign Pete? If not move Ventos to first. But if we just have four good hitters, we’re gonna be very top-heavy. I mean maybe Nimmo can have a bounce back year. He hit 224 last year. Or fuck it, I know Cohen doesn’t want to throw his money around, but the Dodgers are. They spent$1 billion last off-season….why can’t we? Why can’t we spend 1.2 billion get all three hitters trade for a set up man/closer and fill out the rotation! If the Dodgers really want to throw their money around,Cohen should say all right the gloves are off. Let’s really start throwing some money around.

  10. Yes the smart thing to do is to acquire Soto to Mets Org., then the morons and haters in this comment section can watch a new book of history be written in Queens, New York! Then you can talk all the crap you want!
