  1. As much as I feel bad for Bannister, this was the right move. I wish him nothing but the best where ever he goes. With that being said, I’m so glad Monty is back home and will be with us for a long time. Regardless of the outcome of today’s game, I cannot wait to see him behind the Blues bench. LGB!

  2. Wow! A coach that’s not afraid of the media and has a real personality! Hopefully he can transfer that personality and positivity to the team!!
Happy to have you back Monty!!💙

  3. This is a great hire, but I just don’t know how much of a difference ANY coach can make with this roster that Army has assembled. There are multiple guys in this lineup who would be healthy scratches on most teams, if not playing in the AHL. Until we cut most of the dead weight (Kapanen was a good start) and start bringing in Dvorksy, Jimmy, and Otto to give the offense a much needed boost of speedy youth and dynamic scoring, I don’t think much will change.

  4. ready for the Blues to be a force in the league again, and I think he might be the guy to get us there. We're moving in the right direction again. I don't have playoff expectations this year, but I want the games to be fun to watch and the young guys to improve.

  5. As a Bruins fan, I am thrilled Jim got a great job back with the Blues! When players listen to him, their game is elevated! In Boston this year they stopped listening! My second favorite team is now the Blues!

  6. Im not a blue fan but imma be rooting for jim and his boys as a wings fan i was hoping steve could work something out with jim to take over for lalonde but imma be rooting for blues a lil more now

  7. WOW what a night and day difference from a Top End Quality NHL Coach from a New NHL coach. I hope Bannister gets there some day, but the Blues needed this type of a coach.
