[Cowley] The Bulls are still expected to look into trading Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic in order to improve their draft position; “Moving one or both would definitely drop the Bulls into an advantageous lottery spot. The current No. 8 position isn’t exactly that.”

Cowley, you must mean that the Bulls are looking forward to a finals run and Lavine and Vooch are super important a very valuable pieces, right ?
I’ll believe it when I see its
BREAKING NEWS: Nothing has changed
Id like us to get a top 3 pick truthfully
What The Bulls are *expected* to do and what they actually do are very different things
Maybe they do maybe they don’t, but Cowley is 10000% the biggest ass hat in Chicago sports media.
He also just hates Zach Lavine.
Trade them both yesterday
trading Zach and Vooch would definitely shake things up, but honestly, maybe it’s time we embrace the rebuild. Stuck at No. 8 isn’t helping anyone.
Wait until they rattle off 5 of 7 at some point lol
Crowley is an idiot, very frustrating the Bulls beat writer is lazy, and other the trade speculators for the most have no clue how NBA trades works and have no interest in learning.
The saddest part in all of this the sources they use are other uneducated beat writers, I’ve seen better information from fans posting here.
For once an all NBA teams that are competitive and over the cap can’t make trades unless it’s dollar for dollar and can’t aggregate salaries.
Bulls options are limited and based on the cap and time frame the earliest they could make significant changes is the trade deadline in 2026 unless they plan on paying a massive tax bill for draft assets.
God please. Flagg, Bailey, Harper, and the Russian kid are legit.
I mean i certainly hope so. At this point i think it is likely that Vooch will be traded since he is on a reasonable contract and has been playing great. I’m still doubtful we will be able to trade zach this year unless he starts putting up 25+ a night
Good move. We need to make sure don’t lose our pick and develop the young guys
Happy day! The front office understands the position we are in.
Not only can I see AK keeping both, Bulls now have the 3rd easiest schedule. After we play Boston 3x in Dec, it will probably be the easiest from January on.
We’re headed for #7 again.
They just change the dates up a year every year on these articles
Give me top 6 odds that’s all I ask. If the lottery doesn’t work your way fine but guaranteed to keep pick and then this offseason continue to develop youth and bottom out for Boozer. He’s going to be a STUD
They should be moving Nikola and Zach to improve their stash of draft capital, not just bottoming out for this year’s pick…which they also should do.
I like Vuc :/
Give me ace bailey. Don’t matter what the return is for them
Yea sure whatever
Trade those bums and run out the clock on Lonzo. That’s all this season is about. Don’t waste your money
Get it over with, Jesus. And straight up release Lonzo I play 0 Ball
The bigger gaslight isn’t just tanking but acting like the Draft Lottery is going to do anything for us
when has this front office ever made a move.
wOaH!
Coby and Vuc for picks and bad contract
Lavine and ayo for picks and bad contracts
You could get a fuck ton for those two young guards now
The entire LaVine situation has me looking at the front office perplexed.
You’re gifted with a silver platter of a trade from the Knicks, and you decide to ignore it so we can continue to “compete” (bearing in mind Lonzo had been out for just over a year at this point and we went on to get knocked out by the Heat in the play-in).
The following year, you almost set the franchise back even further by trying to make the worst trade I’ve ever seen in my life with the Pistons, for 34 year old Bogdanovic, who the Knicks were able to get for nothing, and Joe Harris, who was so ass for the Pistons they had no choice but to cut him afterwards and now he isn’t even in the league (+ no reported draft capital btw). The trade was nixed because Zach went for elective knee surgery, which in hindsight saved us.
So based on past record, I’m not holding out hope for a good return for either of them, or even for a trade to happen, I’ll just enjoy them while they’re still here, and then hopefully move forward with the young guys when that opportunity presents itself
