Man I’m so happy that the Penguins are gracing us by playing Matt Nieto and sending young players to the AHL in place of him. Playing useless 4th line veterans like Nieto over young guys is of absolute importance for a rebuilding team.
Trade for another change of scenery prospect and just hope for the best
Gotta showcase their trade pieces, although at this point I think Poulin is what he is. Probably just a top line AHL guy for the rest of his career.
Well, now we all know it was made to make room for philip Tomasino. Let’s hope a change to a new team gets him going.

Edit: Penguins had 23 players prior to the Tomasino trade. So they needed to clear a roster spot to bring in Tomasino. Poulin being waivers exempt allows him to be sent down to bring in Tomasino
He’s been solid in ahl but it’s not translating to nhl time and time again
Yet Puustinen and Nieto remain.
Lmao. Always the monkey’s paw with this fucking roster I swear. One of our most functionally decent lines with Poulin, O’Connor and Puljujarvi is now out the window – with O’Connor moves back to the wing.
We get some youth yet we have to punish the youth to get them in the lineup.
Bunting should be scratched. Beauvillier should be around 8-9 minutes.
