The shooting is gonna cool off eventually, we need to stop falling apart at such basic actions like a fucking flare screen or cut down the middle. Every shot we’re hitting is tough, meanwhile, they’re getting layups and fouls
First half offense is generating a lot of threes, the convective passing has been clean (looking at AJax in the dunker’s spot to the Lopez 3 late in the 2nd) and the slashing and posting has been good to counter Miami’s 2-3, as well as Pat, MarJon and Delon willing to shoot to break the zone when needed. The shot creation from Dame has me worried in the second where the offense will come from once Miami puts a greater focus on ball denial and trapping him, and whether we can sustain our lead if our 3s stop falling. Too often we come out the half flat or squander a lead late, so I want our foot on the gas in the second half
I know it’s petty, but every break to commercials the announcers praise the Bucks while they show Heat buckets in a slow-mo. 🙄
