I feel like hockey games have meaning again for the first time in a while.
If he can’t bring this team together, I don’t know who can. His connection to the city is a sweet bonus but his ability to coach is what really has me pumped for some good hockey in our near future.
I had a shitty day and this is the first time this season I’ve seen a blues highlight that actually made me wish we were playing tonight. Monty is just a bright spot and it looks like he fucking loves it here. Still blows my mind we snatched him up.

Knowledgeable, good communication, doesn’t fuck around. The pieces we have aren’t too bad either. They just haven’t been properly managed until Monty showed up. I’d say it’s likely we make the playoffs and maybe even make a decent run. LGB!!!

As long as the team is playing for each other, the right way, to the best of their abilities, and having fun on the ice for the most part I’m fine if we go down. It’s the laying back, not going to the hard areas and showing no emotion that drives me fucking nuts.
