I was told by this sub that Doug McDermott was better than Buddy
I do not miss him.
It’s like people forget the Pacers went to the ECF without him while he has never won a playoff series
One reason I had wanted Gradey Dick, to replace Buddy. Though I really like how Jarace’s defense is looking and his shot is accurate but SLOW.
The problem with getting a guy like that is usually, their defense sucks. And with Tyrese out there, you can’t have two bad defensive guards or you will get torched every play. I guess the only chance of getting a guy like that who can defend is to pick him from the lottery.
I like Buddy and I’m happy to see him playing well and having fun. I hope it lasts. I also remember him being basically unplayable toward the end of his time here.
He was so good. We didn’t deserve him. Glad we didn’t trade Myles at least.
Buddy drove us all crazy half the time on offense and he never did much on defense. He’s a good dude and I wish him well but we have and had too much youth that should be getting his minutes. Before he left he had the most minutes on the team (Tyrese was injured)
