My best response would be: yes.

Astros
Give them all to LA. Then hear me out, make LA play in the KBO or J league.
It’ll be the Dodgers and they’ll be paying his great grand children
Yankees need an infielder in a big way but not sure if this guy is legit? I personally doubt the Dodgers as there is both a baseball and cultural rivalry animosity between Korea and Japan. But that’s really all on the individuals. But I can see the dodgers not being interesting to him
San Francisco
He’s not Japanese, so the Dodgers arent gonna choose him
Dodgers
I really feel like it will be like Cubs or Tigers
Every player signs with the Seattle Mariners except when they don’t. This is true 100% of the time.
So basically wrong answers only lol.
I think it would be hilarious for him to sign with the Pirates or any Midwest teams. You think the media would follow him around if he did? This hype would die out faster than a 77 year old man at a porn shoot.
what would one of those teams need to do to get a national televised game in the middle of the season? Sign he and Soto?
Phillies and Bohm to KC
Braves pls
I just assume every single free agent will be a dodger. That way I’m pleasantly surprised when they don’t sign with the dodgers.
Cali team, just pick one
It’ll be the dodgers
I’ve just got this feeling that the brewers are going to make a play for him.
Tampa Bay will take him if KBO throws in a stadium.
I know it WONT be the Phillies. We simply do not sign asian baseball players for some reason. I know it’s different for east coast teams, but the Mets and Yankees get asian players, Red Sox too. I think we’ve had 1 or 2 in my 25+ years of watching the Phils. Idk why that is. Ichiro was one of my favorite players growing up and I always wanted us to have an Ichiro.
High BA, lots of steals, good lead off kind of guy. Tommy Edman a good comparison?
Pls not us, I’m tired of hearing it lol
Does he play 3rd?
Dodgers for $1 with $456,848,824 deferred until 2086
With Ha-Seong Kim leaving the whale’s vagina I think give him #7 and put him in brown and gold.
If he doesn’t sign with whichever teams signs Ha-Seong Kim and creates the greatest double play duo I’m going to riot
As a Royals fan I would be all over this because power bats don’t do well in K.C. so just load back up on speed and contact guys like him.
Also then you don’t feel like you have to play India at 2nd base and risk the errors that that Royals disdain.
Seattle Mariners
If Hyeseong Kim and Ha-Seong Kim don’t play for the same team I’m cancelling baseball
Ima be totally honest, I can see a LOT of casuals mixing up Hyeseong Kim and Ha Seong Kim. I feel bad for the guy, because he might get overshadowed a lot. Though, it is possible that he will be known more because he almost shares a name with a very good player. Idk
Cleveland

dodgers plus deferred
Soto wants him on the Yankees
Call me crazy but I think I’d be a fun twist if giants built a huge fanbase in SK while the dodgers had a stronghold in Japan would add a fun layer to the rivalry
