The Lions have been the best in football all year but do people forget it’s not the last they played they blew the Vikings out people forget the offense in that game left the field with a lead the problem was the Vikings defense couldn’t hold up

I can not stand Nick! what a windbag. I'm a USC alum and heavy USC doner. I've had the pleaser of meeting Sam at USC alum events. He's a great kid; smart , fooball rat, gm rat , dedicated , atheltic, cannon arm. Sam was screwed by TERRIBLE Coaching that coached like they were eating paint chips and licking dirty chipped window panes and no personal early on and the impatience of the NEW YORK Media and FANBASE. I am so happy for him. He's humble, stays cool and is natural leader! Good for you sam.

Josh Allen delt with the same pumpkin watch thing for two years after leading historic offenses. Eventually the narrative vanished and he's viewed as one of the best with no mention of pumpkin.

I completely disagree with your Darnold Baker take. I think Baker is the much better qb. Won a playoff game with the browns. What he’s doing with this Bucs team completely injured is amazing too, I’m happy Darnold is playing well but I think baker is a much better player

I trust KOC to make most talented qbs look great. Vikings should NOT pay Darnold. People said the same thing about letting Kirk go "be careful what you wish for.." nah, you don't pay average- good qbs. Only superstar qbs deserve the money.
It's the Eagles @ Vikings in the NFC championship game. Sam Darnold has grinded through 4 brutal quarters filled with big hits and uncalled cheap shots that would make the bounty-gate ref crew cringe. Last drive, a minute left, Vikings down 2 starting at their own 3 yard line. An eagle defender goes unblocked straight to Sam, grabs his facemask and turns his helmet 180 degrees. Sam goes down, safety. Ref was unable to see the facemask, Vikings lose by 4. Nick Wright immediately takes to Twitter to let everyone know that Sam Darnold has officially turned back into a pumpkin.

Nick was honest on this one. Sam will always be on Pumpkin Watch despite what he does and people will always be waiting for him to turn into a pumpkin. Mahomes can never be on Pumpkin Watch even if he should be. I remember when Goff had 5 interceptions in a game and was praised for bringing him back showing he can do it. Sam had 3 interceptions and none of the same praise as he did exactly what Goff did.
