Great third option. Handles the ball pretty well for a 5, third year, so fits the timeline, has seemingly bought all in this year, put in great offseason work, great defensive anchor who clearly impacts the game by his presence alone, weaknesses are free throws and threes.
Who the hell are we gonna upgrade to?
Wemby ain’t going nowhere, and I don’t see anyone else who can do as much as Walker can against him – he’s even developing into a half decent perimeter defender. The path to the finals from the west goes through the Spurs within the next 2-3 years.
