  4. Shame to see McCann hit the road. Might have been one of those “both sides shake hands and part ways happily” types of situations though.

    Sounds like McCann wants to play a few more years and knew he wasn’t in the O’s plans for 2026 so he’d be leaving at some point either way. Maybe he figures he can catch on with a rebuilding team on a 2 yr deal then call it a career.

  5. I'm not impressed with this signing. He can't hit. If the Orioles have so much money to spend, they should have spent some on getting someone better. I don't think Sanchez is much of an improvement over McCann, if any, and doesn't have McCann's clubhouse leadership.

  6. Orioles overspending on the positions. Not good. Would prefer to overspend on starting pitching. Get stupid on one 1 starter then position and who knows what in the left overs.
