Aside from having the same type of genius sports IQ that makes them all so great, Michkov seems to have the competitiveness and swagger of someone like Kobe or Jordan.

Against Carolina, during a power play when the puck was dumped into their zone I watched him just stop in front of the Carolina bench so the players couldn’t get in the door to the bench.
That’s veteran level of trolling.
I’ve never in my adult life had a player jersey for any sport. I might just get a Michkov jersey.
Pretty sure I saw clip of him in Sochi walking past a bunch of kids before or after a game and during the whole clip he signed something for each kid that was asking.
I feel like the word “iconic” has been overused lately, but this is the perfect occasion for it

This kid has the talent and swagger to be the face of the Flyers for years to come. Pulling hard for him to do well. I just hope the organization will surround him with more high level talent. Never seen the Flyers hoist the cup. I want to see it in my lifetime.
