1. Boys played well and got some incredible puck luck. Always nice when that happens.

2. This team’s consistent ability to close out a close game with a lead is so good to see. The [Devils broadcast stats guy Nick Cahill](https://x.com/devilstatguy/status/1865222186199335094?s=46&t=yanaVT4VOC3mF6ymfdjIyg) said they’re one of five teams currently who haven’t conceded a 6 on 5 goal this year and holding the line like that in high pressure situations like a one goal lead late matters immensely come playoff time.

3. Have we had a win without a power play goal recently? Of course I want the PP to stay hot but it’s good to get an even strength win.

5. Just finished watching the highlights, I don’t know if anyone else noticed but at one point Dano called Seattle’s goalie “Goobaurer” and I can’t stop saying it to myself and chuckling.

7. Was at the game. Did anyone who watched the broadcast notice if they said anything about the lack of tv time out for most of the first?

8. Not ever going to feel bad for winning, but poor Grubauer. Second goal he had but went off the defense and in. Third goal he had, but Dunn fumbled it.

10. Solid game. Gotta love how the Hughes boys can snipe that corner behind the goalie’s ear so well. We were a little sloppy on D at times and until the third we didn’t play well enough in their crease to cash in on all those shots, but as long as we’re winning I’m always happy with a solid enough game!
