  1. Seriously, how much lower can the refs lower the bar with their absolute shit officiating? That trip+hand pass non-call was criminal. This game should’ve ended 4-2. Also, John Merrill needs to fucking sit for awhile, he was a pylon tonight.

  2. The gross, greasy wins are wins, lol

…. We gotta step it up in a big way to win on Thursday though.

  3. How we feeling about Hynes these days? The team is night and day from last season but the special teams has taken an absolute nose dive. Can we attribute the success to him or is it just the roster continuing to grow and he’s actually holding the team back? Or somewhere in between?

  4. This is such a fun team this year. Reminds of that 110 point Evason year where we came from behind all the time. It’s like unless a team has a 3 goal lead over us, we’re almost certainly going to come back or at least get close almost every time

It’s just great to be a fan this year, we’re definitely getting some amazing and entertaining hockey from this team

  5. SO glad we didn’t end up losing a point (or TWO) from this one; the (deserved) bitching about the refs would have been deafening.

Fire Merrill into the sun, and pay Rossi whatever we need to.

  6. Made it way harder than it should have been but still a W. For as bad as Gus looked in the third he came through clutch in OT/SO

  7. Before we criticize Gus for an off night, we should remember all the stellar performances he gave us this season already… He is a massive reason why we are a top team atm

  8. Against the refs, against all odds, against a down game, this team showed RESILIENCE. Boldy with the shootout winner after Rossi gave us a glimpse of the comeback kids. We got the two points but we can play much better, on one hand it is good to win bad games, on the other hand we can’t afford this when tougher games come. We desperately need our swedes back, Brodin, Ek and Gus that was having an off night, only MoJo showed up. Nice first goal for KUZJA, CIRILLO making his best Eminem impression (Look, if you had one shot or one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted in one moment would you capture it or just let it slip? – Lose yourself intro).

Take the two points, rest, focus and on to the next one.

  9. Won’t lie that was an ugly game for the most part. Gus was off and the discipline and PK was bad. But with that, I’m happy with a win and it made it more satisfying. Rossi is really locking in this year too, love to see it

  10. Thursday against the Oilers will hopefully be a good game. Take some lessons from this sloppiness and step it up with a W on your back.

  11. Buccigross kept saying, “The Wild head to Edmonton on Thursday.”

I hope he isn’t calling the game, because he might have some flights to change…

  12. I will admit the PK is ass. However it is also missing Ekker and Brodin and Merrill and Freddy aren’t close equivalents. Also I get Jiricek needs games in the AHL, but God they can’t come quickly enough to push Merrill into playing well again.

I also wonder if the giant black walls on either end, with black jerseys and seats make this stadium absolutely ass for players. Like how many puck into the nets didn’t get called cause no one could see it

  13. Let’s hope our players won’t be too exhausted after this went to SO… Tomorrow, there will be a hard fight against Edmonton … They are currently a tough opponent

  14. Mojo with a quiet 3 point night. Slowly passing the torch to Merrill as this sub’s punching bag

  15. Emotional game for me as a new Wild fan going up against the guys I used to root for here in Arizona. When Rossi tied it, I freaking went nuts. I did NOT want our guys to lose this game. Period. Yes, it was ugly. Yes, it was a shootout. Doesn’t matter to me. It was a cathartic roller coaster tonight. I’m just glad it’s done with.

  16. It was nice for the boys to pick up Gus on an off night for what he’s done for them this year 👏 KHUSY or Rossi with the HARD chain tonight?

  17. Credit to Utah, that was a no quit effort from them tonight all-around. They have some good young talent and could be good in a few years if they can build a nice culture there. Wild are just too gritty this season, though. Missing the guys we are and making it happen on an off night is impressive no matter the opponent.

  18. How is the PK so bad!? The defense is so good, we have good penalty killing forwards, but nobody knows what to do out there!
