[Vincent Bonsignore] .@Raiders owner Mark Davis also said he wants Tom Brady to have a huge say in things, moving forward.

  1. Now where was that guy commenting “Just because he owns some of the team doesn’t mean he’s going to be involved in decisions. you don’t understand business and football ownership blah blah blah”

  2. Mark Davis may as well replace the Al Davis torch with a big sign that reads “It will always be a clown show here!” What about the current GM? What about the next GM and coaching staff? Why muddy the waters as to who is ultimately in charge? No one wonders why the Raiders are mired in mediocrity- it’s all Mark Davis.

  3. Originally I was torn by the idea of Brady being an owner making decisions. But Mark needs to have someone with football knowledge who is invested and on his side making these decisions. Brady is a better option than mark.

  4. Brady isn’t just a goat qb. He is someone with an unparalleled amount of experience being in and around successful franchises. He knows what it takes to actually be a winner, completely, not only at his own position.

  5. Glad to see he’s getting consultation, but Brady doesn’t have a track record. Only thing I can think of is that he always took team friendly deals, and won rings. I don’t see it being a bad thing, but the younger generation hopefully respects it.

  6. Wow imagine inheriting the family business on the assumption that Mark would know jack and shit about running it.

  7. I think at the very least Brady has the best resources available to help make a decision. Whether he thinks he actually knows what to do (Elway situation) or not, he’s a perfectionist and is going to set himself up for success.

  8. My biggest concern with this is that we *finally* got a GM who knows how to draft in early rounds and now we might have a part owner with no FO track record vetoing him.

  9. Im sure a lot of young coaches would love to see TB12 in the interview room. THey probably grew up watching him ball out.

  10. yeah i would listen to a guy with 7 super bowls aswell. whether he was rival or not he knows what he’s talking about even if it’s a little something

  11. Lmao Brady might end up being the best thing to happen to the franchise which is something I’d never thought I’d ever say.

  12. Brady lives and breathes winning football games. He will do whatever it takes and that is exactly what we need, no more half assing shit, ruthless efficiency

  13. Michael Jordan was a pretty trash owner. Maybe Tom is better but plenty of terrible examples from people who can’t translate good work into good management.

  14. I wonder what Brady will look for in a QB prospect. He wasn’t well scouted back in his draft so maybe he doesn’t follow the same scouting guidelines as others and we get a surprise QB

  15. Biggest say is this upcoming season, if they keep AP, Tom doesn’t have much of a say, but if they fire AP and go with a different coach, it must be Tom Brady wants to win and probably has a lot of power with the Raiders

  16. It’s the Raiders, Brady will probably turn out to be the executive equivalent of Matt Millen.

  17. I think him having more power in personnel is better than what we have now. My fear is that this becomes another Bobcats/Hornets situation where his stubbornness causes the team to constantly underachieve

  18. He’s been saying this for months. He said the day Tom got approved that Brady was here to help find a QB.

  19. I know it’s not going to happen, but can you imagine if we got Belicheck as a coach and Tom was his boss lol

  20. Can he be a good executive? Don’t know. Can it really get much worse at this point? Not really. So sure, give Brady a shot to be involved. If it works awesome. If it fails…well that’s no different than anything else in the past 20+ years.
