2. I think they need to spend time developing McCarthy first instead of putting all the eggs in his basket… you can’t just throw him out to the wolves and say perform when he hasn’t played past pre season which is just practice games… keep darnold and develop McCarthy…

3. Sam isn't just playing well… he's playing elite rn. You resign him. Period. James Jones and shady comparing him to DJ is ridiculous… Sam is playing better than DJ ever has played… shady and Jones are just uneducated humans. They played yes. But they are just not very bright guys.

10. Acho is walking garbage. He is still taking shots at Jared Goff like he is some nobody, claiming that it was McVey that got Jared to the Super Bowl, and how he then was trash. Trying to compare Darnold to Goff is ridiculous. Goff has multiple pro bowls, been to a SB and another Championship game, and holds several NFL records for the QB position. He is now in the running for MVP. Acho was basically a practice squad player his whole short career. Goff's first season in Detroit was his only losing record as a starting qb but still had a 67.3 completion percentage, which is better than Lamar, Purdy and Stafford have right now, and his 19-8 TD to INT ratio that year is better than Mahomes this season's 20-11. He has been top ten in most statistics since being a starter in 2017, but they still want to throw in his first season as a back up to Kase Keenun under Fisher to say he was a bust, while making excuses for every other rookie QB that sucks it up saying that it is their first season. When Jared and the Lions are holding that Lombardi in February, Acho better put some respect on the Goff name.

11. I would 100% pay Sam a million times before EVER paying Kirk Cousins. It’s not even close – the “We know who they are” argument could basically work on every active QB not named Mahommes or Stafford. Or Rodger’s. I guess he is still active too. Those are basically the only ones to win a Super Bowl, so if that is your criteria – Lamar was not worth paying – Allen, Burrow, and Dak all not worth paying.

13. Commit to Sam Darnold for 2-3 years. McCarthy coming off an injury, Sam Darnold is a VET and playing lights out.

    Develop McCarthy the right way, let him sit and he’ll be up in a few years. Putting these QB’s in the fire this way is messing up they careers.

    Next thing you know you treating him like Bryce Young and calling him a bust.
