  1. What a stupid question!! Either he’s trying to be an asshole OR he’s just a trash reporter.

  2. In my opinion, “Chemistry” is just familiarity with a player’s tendencies and being able to anticipate what they will do. Some players have it “naturally” because they see the game in the same way, others it takes time to develop. Unfortunately for Huberdeau, he has a unique view of hockey and most players haven’t played with him long enough to really develop chemistry.

    Kadri actually has a pretty high hockey IQ and I think he has started to play in a way that is more complimentary to Huberdeau; and they’re starting to see some chemistry develop.

  4. I echo the sentiment that it was a dumb question. At least the reporter admitted that he knows nothing of hockey, but if you are going to report on hockey, don’t you think you would try to learn? I hope he is a newly appointed reporter and not just a lazy ass.

  8. Glad he’s got a sense of humour about it. Him and Kadri have been the primary reason the team is eating shit lately.😂

    Edit: I can definitely expand on that. Huberdeau has been on the ice for six 5v5 goals against in his last four games. Kadri five 5v5 goals against and a shorty in that same span. Most of the time, it starts with one of the two giving up the puck on a terrible play.

    Seven total out of 13 GA on the month. More than half of the other team’s highlights are Huberdeau or Kadri fucking up.

  9. Despite Huber’s struggles, you can’t deny the man has got a great personality. I still laugh at his response when asked about the goal that went off his shoulder.

    So quick with the “oh yeah, I’ve totally practiced that” response 😆

  11. So much respect for the attitude Huby brings to the rink everyday. Can’t be easy underperforming relative to expectations and having to answer media questions about it day in and out. Have never really seen him get pissy or whiny in media appearances – he’s stuck with the process and it’s paying off for him and the team.
