  4. Finally convinced my wife to take the train to Montreal for the 4 Nations. Justifying it by working some overtime between now and the tournament. The USA-Canada tickets are INSANE but it’ll be worth it

  10. Going to this game tonight and then Lions-Bills on Sunday. At least the football will be fun. 

  11. And now we face the Berube juggernaut, the revived Toronto Maple Leafs. A team that can suddenly play defense. Sadly I don’t think our team has reached rock bottom on this season yet. What’s the name of that song they play when you’re doing the limbo… “How low can you go?” Hoping that somehow, someway, Stevie finds the courage to to change the trajectory of this “lost” team. My Christmas wish is: I would like to see a certain bald-headed coach enter the unemployment line.

    added: Here’s a real depressing thought. I see that we have two games with Montreal before the end of the year. Don’t look now but we could end up in last place in the conference when the ball drops on 2025.

  22. Came across some people saying that Talbot being rushed back before he was ready is on the coach. I know he is the biggest say in the lineup and deciding which goalies start, but is Talbot getting reinjured really on Lalonde?

  29. And I think my bad cold cracked…which it needed to. My twin brother is flying out next Saturday and staying with me for Christmas and well he has cancer so I can’t really sorta sick or maybe a little sick

    Slept like 11hrs, bp is lowering again, havet taken any nsaids since last night…all good signs

    And it wasn’t covid or flu, rapid test came back negative for all of them. Just some nasty unknown bug

    Hopefully the Wings are feeling better too…

    This reads like someone who is definitely going to hurt himself, but also potentially hurt others that he believes have wronged his loved ones first. Is there any confirmation that people in his life are trying to step in and get him help? This is sickening to think about.

  33. Michigan man Cam Fowler moving to the St. Louis Blues can be filed under “bullet dodged” for Red Wings fans.

    Seemed like one of the most Yzerman type players on the market (big, old, overpaid, local guy, bad).

    But also, maybe him being on the Blues now makes an eventual trade even likelier.
