Sorry for the janky pic but I’m still trying to figure out Sarr’s jumpshot.
He’s still looking through the wrong gap and his wrist follow through isn’t centered. I think the flick from left to right gives him the extra range so it must be a strength issue.

Not to be a jerk but have you seen Reggie Millers shot, how about Tyrese Haliburton’s? Ugly shot mechanics go in as long as he gets enough shots up and build muscle overtime, it is inconsistent from week to week he has been hitting them over the last few games. It will get better as long as he gets strong and keep shooting.
It’ll be interesting to see if his form changes as he gains upper body strength. Hopefully he figures it out, if he can become a 35%+ 3 point shooter it massively raises his floor
There’s no way it’s a strength issue, I grew up just as skinny if not thinner than him and by 19 years old I could shoot an NBA 3 no problem, there’s no way anyone his age isn’t strong enough to get a 3 up
He’s been hitting his shot lately so who cares?
Going just by this pic, the position of the left hand is also one of the first things you would correct if you were trying to teach a little kid how to shoot.
But like hagdogrobinwood said, there are a lot of janky but effective shots in the NBA. I’d hate for them to do what was done to Johnny Davis.
I personally had no issue with this shot as it looked smooth from catch and release. His second shot from the same corner just a few minutes later was kinda wonky though, he loaded weird and the form was inconsistent (resulting in a miss).
If jokic couldn’t shoot NBA fans would be crucifying him for his form. His mechanics are good enough; he just needs reps I think. Plus some guys in the league at his age are so big and young that they aren’t even done growing
He’s 19, he can learn good form (*needs to)
