The line that’ll take us to the afc champ game

  1. Ahh shit here we go again

Tytus is a bad guard but I’m also fairly sure he’s not the disaster that green is

Please god overhaul this IOL this offseason

  2. Why not at least try Zach Thomas at LG? Although he’s only played 1 game at the position he was good?

I guess practice wasn’t good enough

  3. Thank god keep shifting this line until something works bro 😂 also if Tytus mad, GOOD, he’s trash and got paid for nothing

  4. I’d rather Kenyon Green. I think Juice was terrible at communicating and it had a guy who hadn’t played more than 15 games exposed mightily. His run blocking is really good too.

Howard’s PFF was worse than Greens at guard (not saying that is the end all be all).

That being said – I trust our staff so let’s see how it works!

  5. Everyone says Tytus is bad at guard however a bit of that was him being played there against his will plus not being used to it etc.. seeing how the team is flaying I can guarantee he volunteered and will easily be an upgrade, he’s been healthy and played well this year, he’s experienced there now and he will adjust in time for the playoff run

  6. I think it’s weird to have Tunsil and Howard on the same side 🤷🏻‍♀️ that being said I’ll take any combination that doesn’t involve Kenyon green.

  7. I’m at least glad that the staff recognizes the massive problem at IOL and is trying their best with the pieces they have. This isn’t great news, but it’s better than “We’re just gonna stick with what we’ve been doing and hope it gets better.”

  8. Tytus isn’t a good guard, but he will be better than Kenyon. As long as Blake plays well at tackle this could be alright.

  9. As a firm believer that Howard is paid way too much to be a mediocre guard, a mediocre guard would be a godsend right now.

Seems like a clear save the season panic lever, but you have to figure they can be something close to real contenders if the OL stops being the worst in the NFL.

Sure would’ve been nice to practice with this lineup all week though.

  10. If all our back ups are so bad we have to move people from other positions why the fuck are we doing keeping them?

This is either an evaluation or coaching failure that definitely needs to be addressed in the off season.

  11. He didn’t get a lot of reps and he’s a rookie but fisher did not look good at tackle, and while tytus hasn’t been a great tackle this year he’s definitely not a good guard.

I don’t understand why we wouldn’t leave tytus at tackle and let fisher try guard. Especially since fisher’s best traits were his anchor and pushing on the run game. What he struggled with was balance and dropping back in time as tackle on passing downs.

Would think fisher actually translates well as a guard

  12. Holy fuck are the Guard options THAT bad? Need to pour a lot of resources into interior Ol this offeason. This is getting crazy.

  13. So Green’s shown no improvement since his return from IR then.  So much for proving his detractors wrong.

  14. This is a great sign, I don’t care what Tytus looks like at guard nothing is worse than Green.

The fact the team is making adjustments is a positive sign
