I feel like we came ahead in this trade. How did he get 2 high pitching prospects. And a 3rd starter big league proven and an of prospect for a throw in. He really does his job well. Considering the owner doesn't want to spend money 99% of the time.

Talk is cheap, the bottom line is that this trade hurts Cleveland's chances of winning in 2025. The rigid financial dogma of this organization is frustrating.
Hard to argue that the trade makes them better right now, but if the pitching pans out than it’s a positive spin to what is effectively a salary dump. I do like Ortiz a lot so hopefully Willis can shape him
