I'm not the biggest baseball fan, but my dad is a lifelong braves fan. I saw this signature on a braves cap for 20 dollars at an antique store while christmas shopping. Is this a former player that he might know?

Looks like #32. If it’s from Atlanta, since the Braves moved to Atlanta in 1966, several players have worn #32. Here are the key players who wore it during that time: 1. Joe Torre (1969–1974) 2. Rick Mahler (1981–1990) 3. Steve Avery (1990–2000) 4. Tommy Hanson (2009–2013) 5. Shae Simmons (2014–2015) 6. Touki Toussaint (2018–2021)
I’d guess Chad Durbin?
Possibly Cole Hamels. The beginning looks like his autograph, the end seems a bit off what I’m seeing on Google. But he definitely does that little L that is in the first letter.
Looks like it could be Chris Reitsma. His varied a little over the years, but he wasn’t #32 that I recall. If that is a 32.
