Bobby Manning : Porzingis said leaving the game was more of a precautionary move after he banged his heel at one point in the first half. He’s not sure if he’ll need to miss time, but he dealt with something similar in the past and it doesn’t sound concerning

I wonder if it’s the same foot he had the ankle surgery on
It’s kind of a curse and blessing for him that every year he’s going to miss good amount of games due to a leg injury but also because of that he’s recovered from damn near every lower body injury he comes back from injury like it’s nothing lmao.
Just lock the dude up til the Playoffs start lol
Love KP but he’s made out of absolutely glass
It’s a luxury for us to have him and not need him 80% of the time. A true luxury for him to be on a team that can afford to play it safe with him.
Honestly dude. Fuck it.
Just keep him out until the ECF. We don’t need him until then anyway.
I don’t think our championship path is gonna be as easy as last playoffs, and we need KP healthy for the harder series.
Thank god it isn’t serious

Your missing the point bro. It is almost the same thing when it comes to playoff basketball. One leads to another. You aren’t in shape enough to keep up, you do things thag are a stretch you are more likely to get hurt.
Play KP a lot during the season no!(especially against teams that play random.chaos bball like Wizards)
But totally play him during normal games. he isn’t mr Glass. He is still a professional NBA Player.
Man I know he’s an elite player, but he’s always missing so much time. Like, I kinda want a player who can play the whole finals.
Worth looking into a trade? What yall think?
I know you love him (I do too) and he makes the most of the minutes he does play. But let’s say for a thought experiment that we could get a big return for him.
It’s important to keep our eyes on the big prize. This team is a 1 or a 2 seed in the east with or without KP. Getting to the playoffs healthy and rested is more important than the location of a theoretical game 7 in the ECF or a slightly better matchup in the early rounds.
I wouldn’t be surprised if some of his teammates got a little peeved about this again. He misses a lot of time, only to come back for the playoffs. That’s not exactly fair. The other guys are out there putting in all the minutes and games. He gets to come in and play a huge % of his games in the playoffs without having to grind the regular season as much. I know injuries aren’t his fault being a human giant, but…it’s also kind of not fair from a merit standpoint.
