Packers-Seahawks Reaction: Geno Smith goes down, Seattle season on THIN ice | Richard Sherman NFL

Richard Sherman reacts to Geno Smith leaving with an apparent leg injury in the Seattle Seahawks’ wire-to-wire loss to Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers. Sherm breaks down how Seattle would have little hope to make the NFL Playoff if Geno misses time, the disappointment he felt in hearing the Packers fans chanting all around Lumen Field, and why Mike Macdonald NEEDS to address the offensive line this offseason after giving up seven sacks against the Packers.

  1. I thought we had a better chance against Green Bay vs the Vikings….. DAMN, was I wrong LOL! Yeah, running and passing behind the 30th best O-line in the league hasn't been pleasant… Especially when you contrast that look with the #6 line and 4th best rusher in the NFL with the Packers… YIKES!!!!

  2. Hey! Just found your podcast and SUPER HAPPY to see & hear you once again!!! Are you certain you can't come back and help us out once again? ;>) LOVE your observations and it definitely shows that you KNOW what you're talking about!!! KEEP IT UP!!! I loved your plays waaay back when, and STILL love an appreciate your professional observations now!!! Keep up the wonderful observations and comments!!! Once again, GOOOOO SEAHAWKS!!!!

  3. He got it all right. Geno is the QB for 2 years, that’s how it is and it’s a best case scenario for Hawks. These supposed fans bagging him seem so entitled to demonstrate how absolutely awful their understanding of the game and the business of the game actually works. Don’t rule out racism either, some these morons will only be happy with a blond haired blue eyed QB regardless of who that is than get behind an accomplished man who actually knows how to manage a game. They need him to be something it takes an entire team to be. It’s truly embarrassing how they bring the Seattle fan base down to their level
    ✌️ go hawks

  4. The more the tickets cost, the more opposing fans will be there. Football is blue collar. They're making it too expensive to go to the games. Geno is great. Shore up the line. Packers are a Superbowl contender. We weren't winning that without some help.

  5. Richard, Hawks are done for the year. The ownership group needs to decide if they are willing to spend the money to build a top tier team or not. If they make minimal changes in the off season the answer is not. Can the Hawks get Joe Burrow? Desperately need OL.

  6. NFL in the last several years has really elevated the level of play in the top tier teams. The athleticism is off the chart. Players are smart. Way too many injuries. If I were a team owner I would focus on getting high quality training table food. Standard restaurant supply food in America is very poor nutritional value. In fact, high percentage of injuries may be a reflection of the poor trading table food. Just ask Detroit, they are about ready to hold open try outs to try and fill out their defensive roster.
