I’m still not seeing why that 3rd touchdown was called a run. Can anyone shed some light?
Sunday’s game is probably the worst Mahomes body language game I’ve seen him have since the Tampa Bay Super Bowl
I think the left tackle situation is problem #1, but given Andy and Veach’s propensity for small fast receivers, we’re currently missing explosiveness on the offense right now. You know what’s even better than connecting downfield for a big play? Making an easy throw to someone that can then turn it into a big play. I love me some Hopkins, Kelce, and Gray but none of those guys are going to generate any significant YAC. Juju to an extent can, but really it’s only Worthy and Pacheco that have some explosiveness. The Worthy TD last week was indicative of what explosiveness can do. How many catches aside from the TD did he have where one guy tripped him up, otherwise it was a big play? Losing Hardman has hurt. Hollywood has hurt but we don’t even know to what extent. Obviously Rice. Having some of these guys would make everything seem easier, which right now it’s a slog.
^ short weeks are bad for recovery but GOOD for crazy fandom!! 😀 Last reg season home game coming up and the fact Hou/Pit/Balt &c. also have same 3 game/10 day stretch makes that less intimidating tbh.. 9am tailgates ftw 🫡👑👑
I’m not at all blind to our problems. But, it’s always a good reminder of our strengths when you see teams put into positions where I just know we’d pull it out and they don’t. Thinking of the Raiders’ final drive last night.
I kinda had an epiphany last night, watching the 12-2 Vikings struggle offensively for 3 quarters against the 4-10 Bears.
Maybe we all just need to chill out. It doesn’t really matter if they’re playing ugly, the team is 13-1, winning games and that’s what matters. The only loss we even have is to a red-hot Bills team that’s also going to the playoffs. Don’t be so concerned about how they’re games and trust the team to keep finding a way.
Look at the NFC as well: Chiefs have a two game lead and can potentially rest starters Week 18 while the Lions, after losing one game, are now tied with the Eagles and the Vikings. None of those teams will be able to rest going into the playoffs. That’s gonna matter a lot.
Also as bad as our line is it could be much, much worse: just look at the Bears.
