  1. The thought of this kid blowing another start in which Skenes leaves with a small lead or another no decision after pitching a gem is terrifying. Bednar also drank too much of his own Kool-Aid prior to last season. You're right about him not being healthy – but he didn't do himself any favors by being thicket than a Snicker, either. The fact that every domino can fall JUST right with the projected elite starting pitching only to be destroyed by another putrid bullpen performance is terrifying.

  2. One thing about Huntington: he always seemed to put together a really good bullpen. It’s something you can do with talent evaluation and good coaching without spending a fortune.

  3. Regarding the bullpen, a really fun pod topic would be an actual dive into what went wrong with bednar. Getting the scoop from the team what they think went wrong.

  4. The interesting thing about bullpen FAs is that its the one place where the team can afford (or chooses to afford) a truly chamionship caliber piece on the open market. That was the awesome part of the chapman deal last year. It felt like a move that a winner wouldve made.
