Devin Williams, in a Zoom call with media, said he was surprised he was traded to the Yankees because he thought he was going to Los Angeles.

  1. As long as we can land Scott I don’t really care about losing out on Williams, I’m sure he would’ve cost us a lot more than we, even as couch GM’s, would’ve wanted to give up.

  2. Yeah, I mean it’s cool to join Dodgers rn. Not just a strong team with lots of nice superstars but also a good wholesome clubhouse and no stupid shaving policy

  3. Eh, give me the other shut down reliever who isn’t always hurt in or giving up runs in October. Has Scott ever missed playoff games because he punched a wall and broke his hand?

  4. Shows how little the players know as well. They are in the dark the same as us most of the time. I’m sure he only thought he was coming here because that’s what all the “insiders” kept suggesting.

  5. That means the reported trade with Gavin Lux was probably accurate and the one close to being accepted

  6. Have we forgotten how limited we were during the entire season? Pick-ups will happen during the season to help. If we lose out to both, oh well. Come on down trade deadline!

  7. Williams being told he’s going to the Yankees instead of the Dodgers..

  9. You know that dumb fuck E-Rod feels stupid after he vetoed his trade to us watched us win a ring this season and now watches every player want to join us. 🤣😂

  10. I wouldn’t have expected the Brewers to let him go to a perennial NL postseason competitor. Maybe they purposefully led him in the wrong direction.
