Emil Andrae likely still healthy scratch for Philadelphia Flyers, decision looming on Ivan Fedotov

The Philadelphia Flyers practiced in Voorhees today before getting on a plane and heading to Detroit for the first game of a road/home back-to-back, and it appears that for the third straight game, 22-year old defenseman Emil Andrae will be a healthy scratch. PHLY Sports’ Charlie O’Connor was on hand to get a read on lines & the team’s preparedness for their back-to-back, which starts with a rematch against the Red Wings club that they took down 4-1 last week.

As for Ivan Fedotov, it’s now been nearly two weeks since he’s appeared in a game for the Flyers, and as John Tortorella admitted, internal conversations are happening regarding what comes next for the team’s No. 3 goalie on the depth chart.
