  1. Come on, no one thought Darnold would do this, they signed him for 10 million one yr, not 140 million, not even close to the Atlanta situation, this was suppose to be a rebuilt ing yr for the vikes

  2. The Minnesota Vikings will end their season with a 15-2 wins. We got 3 games left, The Seahawks, The Packers and Lions and the way we been playing there is no doubt or question about us beating the Seahawks or The Lions we 3 more games left and we will defeat them all. Like I said it will be The Minnesota Vikings vs The Buffalo Bills at the superbowl ⏳

  3. My main takeaway from this is good luck making a playoff run/go to a SB without a KOC, Ben Johnson, Reid, Mcvay, Shanahan, etc calling plays. Only exception could be the Eagles….but then you just need the best OL in the league, the best running game in the NFL, a top 3 WR duo, good TE, and arguably the best Defense.

  4. One of the only people spitting facts, everyone else doubling down in the anti Vikings rhetoric lol. I wouldn't be surprised if this channel sees a ton of news subs from the Vikings fan base lol

  5. I get what Brockman’s saying, but the big difference is that McCarthy is younger than Pennix. At his age, drafting him that high and then NOT playing him, after you signed Cousins to a much bigger contract than Sam Darnold… it’s not quite apples to oranges, but it’s not the same comparison

  6. I think the cohost Chris is not really that up-to-date with his sports stuff… The Minnesota Vikings drafted a qb on a rookie contract and we’ll see how that turns out but they got rid of Curt cousins freed up a bunch of cap space they never intended to play McCarthy this year and they have a bunch of money to spend on guys like Aaron Jones VanGinkel Cashman Granard. He should do some homework before he speaks.

  7. WEL,,,,THIS SUMMER I GAVE A BOLD PREDICTION AT MY LAST PLACE OF EMPLOYEMENT.I SAID THE VIKINGS ARE GOING TO WIN THE LOMBARDI TROPHY.THEY THOUGHT I WAS NUTS.THEY ARE BRONCOS TUNAS.FINGERS ARE CROSSED.I STUDIED THE PERSONEL VERY WELL.CHUCKY KNOWS FOOTBALL.

  8. I made a deal with God that I can leave this world a happy man, completely satisfied with life if the Vikings can just win one Superbowl.. I'm only 53.. Been watching the Vikings since I was 5, Fran Tarkington, Ahmad Rashad, Chuck Foreman, Sammy White, the purple people eaters, 47 years later, here we are, knocking on the door.. oh crap 😆🤣

  9. I work at the niners team store at Levi's stadium and I had the pleasure of helping Sam Darnold's family out at the register. They were the sweetest looking family and even kinder while interacting with them, he deserves to be balling out this year🎉

  10. Hey Chris – the difference between the Vikings and Falcons? The Vikes passed on paying $100 million guaranteed for the guy in front of JJ to start while he gets up to speed to start next year (eg Mahomes first year). Instead, they found a better upgrade for $10 million for one year in Sammy D and then he's gone to get his cache next year. The Vikes now have a huge salary cap reserve to stack the team as JJ comes on under a rookie deal. Meanwhile, the Falcons have a anchor around their neck and will waste the opportunity to stack talent under Penix rookie contract.

  11. 7:25 just an awful take. Do better. Sam Darnold was left for dead last offseason. His signing with Minnesota was met with a shrug and a yawn. It's not even remotely the same as Atlanta. Darnold signed a 1 year, $10 million contract, not a 4 year bajillion dollar deal like Kirk Cousins did with Atlanta.

  12. To everyone who predicted the Vikings where gonna be bad this season and said something like 5-12 is their max achievable wintotal. Who have been ''shocked'' all season and keep trying to explain what they can't grasp in their mind. I'll tell you something; it's not that the Vikings are doing something unimagineable or ''crazy'' by winning. It's just that your prediction was so far off… You were wrong! But they don't want to admit that do they?
People often don't see what is what if it's not what they wanted…
Also people usually don't see what's right in front of them this whole time! SKOL

  13. Rich you keep saying "he is 12-2, he has went 5-0 and he may win the division" There is no "he" football is a team sport and quarterbacks don't win anything, teams win and coaches win. Quarterbacks are just one out of 53 players. If you think about it and break it down you would realize that the quarterback, as the most important player, carries about 5% of the responsibility for winning and losing. Coaching 50%, special teams 5%, 22.5 for the defense and 22.5 for the offense. Giving the quarterback any more than 5 of the 22.5 for the entire offense is a slap in the face to all the other players. Everyone says the quarterback gets too much blame and too much credit but you just continue to do it over and over again.

  14. those of us who reside in mn knew we had a pretty good team, were there questions? ofcourse ,,, ive followed the vikes for 50 years ,, im a true Vikings fan,,

i bleed purple , i can see where
    people didnt see this commin
but we know it was possible
to have a pretty dam good year

i dont know if they can hang with Detroit,, they can if they
believe ,, it starts there ,, buffalo did, didnt see that commin especially in detroit

it would require dam near mistake free football,

this is so fun to watch the vikes this year,, win ,, lose …or draw, i love football, i have actually been to met stadium back in the day, great stadium
the cold was a great advantage, we need that back

it was how we liked to play
the echos ,, i still hear, bud grant, lining up the team for the national anthem,, the roar of the crowd seconds before kickoff,, the purple people eaters ,,, jim Marshall should be a hall of fame guy,

how sad is that, it is a slap in the face to not only him, to all
Vikings fans, someone should explain that to us,, i wanna know why?

  15. Respect to the Vikes and Darnold. BUT Rich knows the better team in this division are the young and unintimidated Green Bay Packers. Even better than the Lions. Detroit has too many injured on the defense to go all the way. It will come down to Packers at Vikings week 17. Pack will win that one.

  16. Um, to the guy who interrupted Rich, the Vikings spent 10 million on their QB and the Falcons spent 180 million. Oh, but according to you the Vikings were just as stupid as Atlanta. Hmmmm, that is some kind of southern math.
