[DNVR] Bo Nix when asked about the mentality to close out the season and having three games to win one to send Denver to the postseason ended his press conference with “We’ve got three games to win 3 and go into the playoffs and win a Super Bowl.”

  1. Growing up in the mid and late 80’s and into the 90’s etc….. It just felt like the broncos were always in contention, always doing good things. These years since the super bowl have been so rough that I forgot how to feel good about things again.

Payton, Nix, Joseph and the team have really restored that mile high magic.

  2. I don’t care if we have to go to Kansas City in Week 19, Week 20, or Week 21

I just want them scared shitless for the week or two before we get there.

  3. Let’s hear it for the owner who said “$85 million to buy out Russ? I got that in the seat cushions…”

  4. Love this mentality, he’s focused, and his eye is on the end goal regardless of what fans and pundits say. Dude’s confident and I love it. LFG BO!

  5. 1 at a time. And we can pull it off. We’ve got guys that deserve it just as much. Guys on the team came very effing close. So, I’m not worried about high stakes games anymore. We’ve lost em. Now we win. 1 at a time. Chargers aren’t mid, they burn us. Now is where we run. We’ve been our own enemy. And no other team is better than us. It was our fault. But. Think fast and adjust, can’t have any flags cuz the refs legit will make one up, so the win has to be absolutely convincing, devastating. The guys have taken some hits. That’s where the other guys come in. And I love how you can stand up for each other on the next play. To make the big ones happen. I say this tho.. we HAVE to do it in front of our haters. We cannot be intimidated before ANY game. 1 at a time. Tldr: a post to look back on this amazing team I have loved for 28 years.

  6. Success definitely doesn’t come to teams who don’t believe in themselves.

That part seems to be taken care of at the very least.

  7. Hard not to like this guy. I got a feeling he’s earning real respect in that locker room, not just as a rookie QB but an authentic team leader

  8. Just out of curiosity, when is the last time (if ever) that a rookie QB has been to or won the super bowl?

The answer is none. All records are meant to be broken.

    > Rookie quarterbacks have made the AFC and NFC championship games but have not gone on to the Super Bowl. These include Ben Roethlisberger, Joe Flacco and Mark Sanchez. NFL rookie QBs have a lowly .355 winning percentage in playoff games.

  9. Love the attitude, it’s what a player should have. But as someone who is not a player on that team…a rookie quarterback has never even made it to a Superbowl, much less won a Superbowl.

  10. Dudes got a pair of huevos with that statement. But fuck yeah, he’s been finding ways to win! I don’t care that he threw 3 picks the last game. He threw 3 TD’S right after and they won the damn game. Great .. I mean amazing poise for a rookie QB.
