1. Great information today!
   It seems like the attempt to sign Skenes has to be this offseason. If he goes out and has a Cy Young season his price will skyrocket beyond what the Pirates could/would ever pay.

2. Skenes is gone before first yr of arbitration guaranteed !!!! So sad that Nutbag can't spend!

3. Boycott all Skenes home starts!!!!!! Take the "Abandon Ship" movement national. Nothing is going to change with Nutting's ownership if people keep attending and eating the slop he plops down on your plates!!!

4. "Just saying" indeed! Cherington has lost my trust and confidence for sure. That said, I like the outside-the-box Horwitz trade even if he might have given up too much. Where my anxiety lies is the total lack of confidence in him acquiring the outfield power source that we so desperately need. This is because dude has failed so miserably in the past, last year's acquisitions being exceptionally bad.

5. One way to improve viewer ship is dropping Joe block from the broadcast. He is insufferable. I live in Oregon I’ve watched 98% of the televised games over the last 14 years and he is the Chris collinsworth of baseball. Also being competitive might help people want to watch..

7. If the Pirates don’t build a team around Skenes and make the playoffs in the next 2 seasons, he is as good as gone. He will most likely sign with the Dodgers after his contract expires. Olivia will help make this decision so that it will be easier for her to do modeling or whatever to capitalize on her looks while she is still young and beautiful. (This is why LeBron went to the Lakers so that he could expand and manage his brand).
   The best thing for the Pirates to do is to sign and trade him for as many 1st round draft picks as possible.
