I was blessed to participate with my lady in the flag unfurling ceremony and re-invited for a post-game on-field visit after the Monday Night game against the Falcons, and the Raiders organization was kind enough to help me fulfill a grand gesture to propose on the field!

My love for this amazing woman was enhanced by how she embraced The Nation and joined me as a lifelong Raiders fan. I’ve told her about crossing the BART bridge in Oakland, taking the RTD bus in LA to South Central, and now we know the Hacienda Bridge walk together. The things she says when the TV shows Kelce and Taylor Swift would make your ears blush….

The Fire that Burns Brightest is the Will to Win – yet as fans we can’t control what happens on the field. For us both, we love to visit the stadium and chant Raiiiiiiiiiiiderrrrrrrs with you! We bond in our local cities watching games. I see my members of The Nation when traveling and I greet you with a double-tap on the chest and I say “Raider Nation, baby!”.

In this holiday season let us all appreciate our shared connection as fans, as brothers and sisters from many locations and backgrounds.

And seriously next year let’s fucking start winning right?
