  1. While the stolen base trend is only going to remain high or go higher because of the pitch clock, ultimately I’m not overly worried about his defense and framing. He more than overcomes that shortcoming offensively.

    Could he improve? Absolutely. Will he make adjustments in the off-season? I hope so. But he doesn’t need to be Pudge back there, with the way he can rake.

  2. If dealing with the occasional defensive miscue is what it takes to have his bat in the lineup for over 150 games every season, I’m all for it. More DH days for him would be nice but those aren’t readily available, especially when Yelich comes back next year.
