Miami Dolphins Rumors: Tyreek Hill TRADE Coming In Offseason + Trey Smith TOP NFL Free Agent Target?
Tyreek Hill highlights today’s Miami Dolphins rumors discussed by Miami Dolphins Today, a Dolphins YouTube show! Host Nic Rohloff talks about a potential Tyreek Hill trade that could come to fruition in the NFL Offseason, and if the Dolphins should trade Tyreek Hill! Tyreek Hill’s contract makes him difficult to trade but the Tyreek Hill stats have declined as Hill approaches 31 years old. The Miami Dolphins roster needs to be overhauled if the Dolphins want to make it back to the NFL Playoffs, and moving on from Tyreek Hill may free up roster space and resources to improve the total roster. This show also features the No. 1 Dolphins free agent target for 2025 NFL Free Agency. Trey Smith, Kansas City Chiefs guard, is set to earn a large contract in free agency. Liam Eichenberg and Robert Jones, the two starting guards for Miami, are slated to be NFL Free Agents and need to be replaced anyway. Nic believes Smith must be a target for the Dolphins!

Your BIGGEST hole is a "Franchise QB".
Trade Tua Sign Cam Ward !
Don't trade tyreek please
If you had a quarterback that couldn't hit you in stride your stats would fall to
agreed, we need to be hitting in the draft
I am so tired of this
First the head coach don’t play a snap on the field
Second Mike McDaniel don’t pick the players
But y’all are quick to want to fire the head coach smh
Now everyone wants to blow up the team
Sign we need him badly are guards suck
No
Reek would have to agree to sign another new deal and they would get a 4th round or lower pick for him at best. Not sure why they extended him the off season, they were in a perfect position to move on from him in 2025 before they reworked the deal.
Before the season, I asked why the offensive line wasn't Armsted, Paul, Webber, Jones/Wynn, Jackson and I still don't understand it now that we have seen Paul play. Yes, he is rangy and it would hurt him flowing to stunts and passing off rushers and moving to the next one…but he would be 7x better than Liam being on the field all those snaps.
Tua fans don't want this, because they know, it will effect Tua in a big way!
I don’t want hill gone
We get too many players that think Miami is just a retirement home, easy paycheck. F*** Hill. He screams half effort, lazy diva. So does Waddle. Wish we had Devonta Smith or something.
HELL YES!!! Trade his OVERRATED- BIG- MOUTH DEVA. Get a 1st/ Players. But… Get WHAT, WE NEED. Trade Tua if Possible. Time to START OVER.- BUT…1st, FIRE Grier and McIDOIT. CLEAN HOUSE
I wouldn't be surprised if Tyreke was tired of being here. Lord knows I am, and im not even on the damn team… 😩
No
No
No, HELL NO! Stop wasting money on free agents. Build the team through the draft.
Dude you trade him after you guaranteed him money, that's dumb, if you do you still going to be in the red after next season
Trade Hill, use the capspace to address Linebacker, Nosetackle, and Guard. We have Washington to take Hills place and if Tua has more time thr through and we can control the line of scrimmage we won't need Hill.
Dolphins-Browns game got flexed out of Sunday Night. Hilarious! Who wants to see that shite? At least it gives McDaniel a better chance to win now that the game is not on prime time. He just has to contend with playing away and in the cold. That gay offense of his doesn’t do well in those conditions.
Trey Smith yes
With such a big contract I'm not even sure what you can get for him but if someone that needed a Hill type player to get to the big game and maybe win it was willing to take that on and give up a draft pick I'd sell him and throw in a GM and HC for free.
Depends on what they do with the capital that get back. I’m not sold on the current philosophy of building the roster
I don't like the Reek trade idea. The combination of Reek and Waddle has been the best thing going for Miami's offense since Tua has been onboard. Reek still has juice in him and Waddle will get even better before he ever starts getting worse. I also don't agree with this notion of only one speedster is required for a team's receiving corps. Maybe some teams can do it that way but Miami is the antithesis of championship calibre football this millennium and we cannot afford to bust up our greatest team dynamic which remains the envy of every other team in the league.
That said, we will need cap space to address a lot of needs. OL MUST be priority #1. We need a punishing, dominant OL that can take the game to the defense instead of getting pounded on by defenses. Liam Eichenberg needs to find another football league or else another career. 100% agree he cannot be on this team next year in any capacity. Robert Jones is little better though I would not be cheesed if he was given a shot at a backup role next year seeing as he has had some good play in prior years. A stud possession WR3 guy would help to provide depth and competition for Washington and others. A power RB could work as well. Both these needs should be attainable on the cheap. On defense, a strong CB works. I would think about using our #1 on such a creature if Grier is not (for whatever reason) doing the picking on such! I would prefer to look at OL players with the #1, possibly the #2 as well but CB has to get a look there. Draftees of course are always on the cheap and a great way to fill gaps and provide depth with the aim of filling starter roles in the near future. LB corps need to be strengthened. I can't think of a year since Zach Thomas' prime when this unit did not need this! Safety clearly needs help. Jevon Holland needs an in depth physical to see if injuries from last year have compromised his play this year and what we could expect out of him for the future. Clearly this has been a regressive season for him. Poyer is so bad, one could make the argument that he is still playing for Buffalo! Just a terrible signing and one I think that has soured Holland's experience this year because of Poyer's ineptness. So depending on that physical, we need at least one starting calibre safety and possibly two. The future of Phillips and Chubb on the edge may be in doubt. A high end edge rusher or two also looks like a necessity to go along with Chop, whom thankfully has turned out positive since day 1.
Can we fill all these needs without destroying the Tua / Hill / Waddle triangle machine? Possibly not all at once but we have to try. Basically, retooling on the defense is all we need player wise as the offense does not need much (but what it needs it REALLY needs!). We are still closer to relevance (at least one playoff win during a season) than a first overall draft pick competing team.
Common Nick. Both of those late game interceptions were on Tua. Tua is the reason why there was no separation caise he underthrough, mistimed his throw. Tua is not capable of throwing a bullet when he has to.
Any receiver in his right mind presently in Miami should exit stage left! Tua will get you killed!
No. If we had drafter worthy maybe. But we need two with elite speed.
Stop trying to cover the deficiencies of Tua. Small or tall receivers with a QB who under throws passes is irrelevant!
The Eagles have similar issues. How do they deal with this situation?
No
Yes
It is what it is.say all you want, till changes happen, either endure to the end,or hope change come soon…..I'd be dead by the time we go to another superbowl…
Start with trading Chris Grier…then target a viable of playing in sub 50°F weather and get the O-line stacked. The rest will never fall into play cuz….Miami
Y! I would think 💬🤔 about it
