12. Clement had a great year with a 3.4 WAR. He'll earn around $1mil this year. There is a lot of interest in Teo & Santander. With that the odds are against the Jays of landing one of them. Alonso is probably back to the Mets. Walker to the Yanks. Bregman may be the guy that falls into their lap. Maybe they do it & let Bo play half his time at DH, giving Clement more reps at SS & super utility role. Clement has to play. The other guy who may fall into their lap is Burnes. If he wanted to be a Giant, he would by now. With Sugano going to the O's. The only team I could see stealing him from the Jays is Boston.

    Would rather they get sasaki, profar, santander… maybe even Moncada… 2 switch hitters on this line up… and maybe naylor… would be great plus a japanese phenom starter… maybe opens up some other players for a trade…

23. I'm initiating "Burnes or Bust"! I am getting sick and tired of this management team failing to go the distance to reel in the big fish and make the Jays competitive. If they don't get Burnes or someone of that game-changing calibre I as one Jays fan will not spend a dime on them this season and encourage all Jays fans to do the same! Ownership/management will not change tactics until WE make them, by not filling their pockets with our hard earned money to support a sub-par team.
