Horrible decision to let him play. It was clear as day that he was being rushed back. He barely practiced enough to get back to game speed after a surgical procedure. Seemed dumb to have him play before the Christmas break. They clearly wanted him to get a few games in before the big Carolina series. But that was going to be a risky move. Dowling could’ve been picked up by another team on waivers while re-activated Lazar, and we would really be in trouble in terms of depth. I’m surprised a team like the Rangers didn’t take Dowling just to mess with our depth. We would be one injury away from making Macdermid an every day starter.

Nothing that hasn’t been said, but him coming back 6 weeks after knee surgery seemed…unwise.
How come there is much love for Lazar? He has 2 pts this year & is a career .23 pts pr gme player. His game or a person. That being said I like Bastain so…
Ugh, damnit, fourth line was primed to be aces again. Hopefully Keefe’s right and it’s just some aggravation after not being in a game for awhile.
