[esidery] The Warriors have recently checked in with the Bulls on Nikola Vucevic. Vucevic is averaging 21.1 points, 9.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists while shooting 47.5% on threes. Golden State has the necessary expiring salaries and draft capital to make a potential deal work with Chicago.

  1. Black hole defensively but will help a ton offensively and finally gives them a bit of size. Wouldn’t mind it for the right deal.

  2. Trade would almost definitely require Looney being sent out because it makes no sense to keep 3 centers (Vuc, Loon, TJD) + Dray. And TJD’s small contract doesn’t really help at all matching salary.

Trade would most likely be Looney + Moody + 1 of Hield/Gp2/Anderson

  3. GP2, Slowmo, Gui Santos makes the money work. It reduces our depth but gives us someone else that can actually score. I wouldn’t mind it because our guard rotation is pretty deep but it would hurt to lose GP2 because he’s a menace defensively. Losing Slomo would also be unfortunate, and in case of injury we might be screwed in the forward position, but offense is the main need of this team rn.

  4. i wasnt a fan of vuc before – but i say lets do this. I heavily criticized his terrible defense but would it be worth it with Draymond playing next to him?

  5. Stretch big would do wonders for JK and wiggs slashing and the offense as a whole… black hole defensively but trading for vuc doesn’t necessarily mean he has to close every night

  6. The only possible package that seems to work financially would be Slomo, JK, Waters + TJD. I think it’s fine as it’ll shorten our rotation a little. This only works if the team can’t find a better deal involving JK. With the addition of Schröder we can trade Slomo/Waters.

  7. The Warriors need him for his Offense.
Draymond, TJD, and Looney are allergic to scoring lol

  8. Slomo has a 2 year guaranteed contract. The Bulls don’t want him or have any use for him.

Highlights from his game against Spurs two weeks ago. Honestly Vuc’s touch with the ball has a lot of finesse to it. Offensively he would provide a lot more variables to our game, make it harder for the opposition to plan against. Strech bigs are difficult to come by, so I wouldn’t be opposed to this move at all.

  10. His shooting is on fire this season but remind u that he only shoot 32% from 3 in the previous 3 seasons total.
