So they are gonna just gonna build it on top of the old one?
the roofing is ugly imo, especially considering the rest of DC around the arena.

Some bright spots, some meh.
The main concourse area looks to have a better flow. I like that they are making it brighter and spacing things differently.
The Vaults and United Global Lounge are clearly geared toward the massively overpaid DC types and the visitors who come here for business. They just look like something ripped out of MGM National Harbor, but people seem to eat that styling up.
The biggest W I see is that they might be ripping up that part of 7th Street / Abe Pollin Way in front of the arena. Or they are at least showing it reduced and that the sidewalk will be expanded. It will be nice to have a place to gather and wait for people instead of just standing outside the metro stop.
this is actually pretty sweet I was pretty bummed when the Alexandria move got canceled because I figured they wouldn’t do anything cool with Cap One but this looks sick
I can’t imagine there being that much green space with no utility
