Quinn Hughes Post Game

  1. That kid has nothing to hang his head about. Without him we wouldn’t be near a playoff spot.

  2. I really hope toch starts reeling in his minutes. I know everything seems to go through him and the Canucks don’t really have a second option but this pace isn’t sustainable long term and I really don’t want to see Hughes go down or become completely drained before the season is over.

  3. Poor guy. Probably tired af. Gives his all every game. We need another top 2 D to help him out.

  4. This photo makes me sad.

Yeah, they are athletes and its part of the job and they are paid very well to do their jobs, but its still tough when you are a high performing competitor and you feel like despite your effort, it just isnt enough game after game, season after season.

  5. It must be frustrating being the only player who is consistent night after night. It’s depressing as a fan having a once in a lifetime talent like Quinn and the rest of the team looks like a beer league roster most nights, which might be the most Canuck outcome possible for this timeline.

  6. I’ll start by saying he is the best d in the world right now.
But, when will accountability for chemistry in the locker room be on the captain?
It’s not good enough to be great on the ice while wearing a C. It’s more than that.
He gets off too easy imo.

  7. This photo makes me sad. Quinn gives it his all every game and is the only reason we win some of the games that we play. Without him, this team is so much more static. But there’s only so much one guy can do, and especially playing so many minutes a night.

I really love Quinn and I hope he stays a Canuck and as our captain until his retirement. But if he jumps to play with his brothers in UFA, I would get it.
